Sound Accomplices Lab at Schmiede24

Sound Accomplices created nothing less than bloody magic at Schmiede23. The bar is set high, so let’s climb and hang for some truly slothific performances and sounds.

 

 

Inspired by this year`s illustrious Schmiede theme (and John Cage`s “ORGAN2/ASLSP (As Slow As Possible)” Lino Leum creates the piece „as sloth as possible“. for one performer, playing as sloth as possible, together with a machine, as long as there’s an audience.

The length of the piece (between one and twelve hours) is determined by its listeners who are free to enter and leave the site as they please. The performer plays as long as there are people dedicating their presence. Lothar Lässer (accordion, baritone) and Kristina Gorke (mezzosoprano, chicken shaker) bring motivation, music (Schubert, Lässer, Weill u.a.), rhymes (Frisch u.a.)

and invite Smiths to participate.
