As part of Schmiede 2023, the AI & WEB3-LAB offers a deep insight into the fascinating world of artificial intelligence (AI) and Web3. Under the expert guidance of Stephanie Meisl and Claudia Rohrmoser, tutors for AI, and Leonhard Marlo, tutor for Web3, the lab offers a direct experience with the technologies of tomorrow. The lab’s program includes workshops and discussions aimed at familiarizing participants with the opportunities and challenges of these technologies. The meaning of creative singularity is examined and the question is raised whether a robot, an AI or an algorithm can actually replace human creativity.

The impact of these technologies on artistic creation is another focus. In addition to AI, the concepts of Web3 are also covered in the lab. It examines how user created content relates to Web3 and what role tokens, digital currencies and digital identities play in this new web. In addition, it is analyzed what distinguishes humans from a bot in the digital world, which digital identity is sought and what an ideal Web3 world could look like. The KI & WEB3-LAB invites you to immerse yourself in the world of KI and Web3 and to actively participate in shaping the future of digital art.

In addition to AI, Web3 concepts are also covered in the lab. We are investigating possibilities to organize oneself decentrally in collectives, to develop own token systems, whether non-fungible, fungile or everything around it. In addition, we examine how we create identities, what this has to do with Sybil and how we can coexist with bot identities.

Im Rahmen der Schmiede 2023 bietet das KI & WEB3-LAB einen tiefen Einblick in die faszinierende Welt der Künstlichen Intelligenz (KI) und Web3. Unter der fachkundigen Leitung von Stephanie Meisl und Claudia Rohrmoser, Tutorinnen für KI, und Leonhard Marlo, Tutor für Web3, bietet das Labor eine unmittelbare Erfahrung mit den Technologien von morgen. Das Programm des Labors umfasst Workshops und Diskussionen, die darauf abzielen, Teilnehmer:innen mit den Möglichkeiten und Herausforderungen dieser Technologien vertraut zu machen. Es wird die Bedeutung von kreativer Singularität untersucht und die Frage aufgeworfen, ob ein Roboter, eine KI oder ein Algorithmus tatsächlich die Kreativität des Menschen ersetzen kann. 

Die Auswirkungen dieser Technologien auf das künstlerische Schaffen sind ein weiterer Schwerpunkt. Zusätzlich zur KI werden im Labor auch die Konzepte von Web3 behandelt. Es wird untersucht, wie User Created Content mit Web3 in Zusammenhang steht und welche Rolle Tokens, digitale Währungen und digitale Identitäten in diesem neuen Web spielen. Darüber hinaus wird analysiert, was den Menschen von einem Bot in der digitalen Welt unterscheidet, welche digitale Identität angestrebt wird und wie eine ideale Web3-Welt aussehen könnte. Das KI & WEB3-LAB lädt dazu ein, in die Welt der KI und Web3 einzutauchen und aktiv an der Gestaltung der Zukunft der digitalen Kunst mitzuwirken.

Zusätzlich zur KI werden im Labor auch Konzepte von Web3 behandelt. Wir untersuchen Möglichkeiten sich dezentral in Kollektiven zu organisieren, eigene Tokensysteme zu entwickeln ob non-fungible, fungile oder alles drum herum. Außerdem untersuchen wie wir uns Identitäten schaffen, was das mit Sybil zu tun hat und wie wir mit Bot-Identitäten zusammenleben können.
