Die Schmiede lädt alle Smiths, Future-Smiths und Interessierten zur jährlichen Infosession in Wien ein.
(Smiths – das sind die Teilnehmer:innen der Schmiede.)

Dank der Einladung der Semmelweisklinik findet das Ganze diesmal in einem etwas anderen Rahmen statt: Eine Mini-Werkschau gibt Einblick in vergangene Projekte der Schmiede – kompakt, inspirierend und aus erster Hand.

Schwer in Worte zu fassen, ist die Schmiede in Hallein mehr als ein Medienkunstfestival: Sie ist Werkstatt, Netzwerk, Familientreffen für etablierte wie aufstrebende internationale Künstler:innen – ein Ort für Kunst jenseits von Wettbewerb.

Kurze Vorträge von Künstler:innen sowie von Gründer Rüdiger Wassibauer werden durch Infostationen und ein ausgewähltes Rahmenprogramm ergänzt.

It’s that time again!
The Schmiede invites all Smiths, Future Smiths, and interested parties to its annual information session in Vienna.
(Smiths – these are the participants of the Schmiede.)

Thanks to the invitation from the Semmelweis Clinic, the event will take place in a slightly different setting this time: A mini exhibition will provide insights into past Schmiede projects – compact, inspiring, and firsthand.

Hard to put into words, Schmiede in Hallein is more than a media art festival: It is a workshop, a network, and a family reunion for established and emerging international artists – a place for art beyond competition.

Short lectures by artists and founder Rüdiger Wassibauer will be complemented by information stations and a select supporting program.
