we wanna be: fashion icons, brand managers, alchemists of substantial fabric callings, jury judges, model role models, first face and last face, sound designers and heads of curation, holders and shapers of the framework of the lab and the fabric of society, directors and editors of documentation for the process, for the great cause, for the perfect runway show (by our finest and very selective artistic beauty standards)

Brief Lab presentation on the first Thursday – SEP17th 15 min – including questions: lab open to join – come make fashion with us (we offer zero expertise but exceptional taste). we make fashion and present it in a runway show 🦄💫🔥 no need for sewing skills or knowledge about cutting patterns – we create art and not necessarily wearable fashion. just don’t be basic. #kimonoshebetterdont

lab community skill sets:
design, craft, makeup, choreography, catwalk ambition, stage & light design for the runway, photography, videography, owner- or collectorship of high heels (!!!!!)

casting call for models:
submit casting video (30 seconds max – any second more can’t be considered due to
capacities) until Mo/Tue
middle of the week/long night:
public casting performance:
selected participants (aka prob. everyone but 🤫)

Werkschau day:
RUNWAY SHOW
PRE-SCHMIEDE INFO FOR PARTICIPANTS:
bring HEELS & materials::: clothing, table cloth, SEWING MACHINES, TUFTING PISTOLS,
threads and needles, foils, anti-slip mats, hot glue guns, GAFFA, – whatever u see fit for
the runway

Schmiede focuses on diversity and cooperation Labs at Schmiede are focus groups and more.

Schmiede26: Ai Ai Ai  will host a wide array of labs, ranging from personal interests over project development to institutional cooperation. The idea being, what do we know what you want. Schmiede is about you, the Smiths, not the vase.
