X-Reality Lab @ Schmiede26 – Intro Webinar | August XX

We are excited to welcome the Mozarteum University Salzburg and the Ars Electronica Futurelab to Schmiede26.

The X – Realities Lab explores immersive environments and invites artists, designers, developers, and creative technologists to create new experiences for the mozXR platform – the immersive XR space currently being developed by Mozarteum University Salzburg and Ars Electronica Futurelab.

As a first step, we invite everyone interested to join our online Intro Webinar. During the session, you’ll have the opportunity to present your project idea, discuss its feasibility within the mozXR framework, and learn more about the technical requirements for implementation. The webinar is also an opportunity to ask questions, receive feedback, and connect with the team before development begins.

The webinar is open to everyone—not only Smiths participating in Schmiede26. If you have experience with Unreal Engine and are interested in creating your own XR environment, we encourage you to join. Selected projects may be presented during the opening festival of the Mozarteum XR-Lab on Thursday, September 24, and at the Schmiede26 Werkschau on Friday, September 25.

The webinar will be hosted by Ars Electronica Futurelab and Mozarteum University Salzburg.
